In order to promote the work of young researchers, the SLFMCE will provide financial support for the two best contributions submitted by young researchers. Candidates must fulfil the conditions listed below:
(a) applicants must be master students or PhD students, or to have a doctoral dissertation read after the May 15th, 2012.
(b) applicants must be members of the SLMFCE when the contribution is submitted.
(c) applicants must get the highest rank for their submitted contributions at the blind process of refereeing.
(d) applicants must not have been previously awarded with this grant.
Funds are intended to cover the registration fee, travel and accommodation expenses (maximum 500 euro for each winner of the prize). The SLMFCE will provide a certificate to the winners of the grant.
In the event more than two communication proposals are qualified as excellent, the Steering Committee will decide the grant recipients in accordance with the quality of their contributions.
The young researchers who want to apply to the grant must send an e-mail, once the submission has been uploaded, to firstname.lastname@example.org with their personal data and the necessary documents certifying that they fulfil the conditions above.
